Ten people went missing as a trawler carrying 50-60 people capsized in the Shitalakkhya River in Kaliganj upazila on Sunday. Locals said the Narsinggdi-bound trawler carrying 50-60 workers of PRAN Foods Ltd. from Muladi of Kaliganj sank in the river around 2:30pm after it was hit by a sand-laden cargo. Forty of the passengers managed to swim ashore with the help of local people but 10 others could not be traced. Two divers of the company and local people are working to trace the missing people. – Gazipur, Apr 12 (UNB)
