To show respect to the martyrs of the Liberation War , a patriot of Moheshpur upazila town donated his 10 decimals of land for the construction of a Muktojoddha Complex. The price of the land was estimated for Taka 50 lakh.
The donor Munshi Ferdous, better known as Feroj Munshi in a simple ceremony handed over the registered deeds of the land to the leaders of the Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Mohespusr, Upazila Unit recently. .
Feroj Munshi, a resident of Moheshpur municipal town said, he was shocked when he was informed that there was no land for the construction work of the Muktijoddha Complex in his own area. Sharing the matter with other members of the family he had requested the unit commander of the Muktojoddha Sangsad in the locality.
Abdul Malek Gazi, Unit Commander of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Mohespusr upazila unit when contacted said, he was impressed to hear the proposal and informed the matter to Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ashafur Rahman.
The UNO with his initiatives ensured the registration of the land of Feroj Munshi to Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Mohespusr upazila unit command.
When contacted, UNO Ashafur Rahman said, he was delighted when he was able to finish the deeds for the construction work for the heroic sons on Independence war in 1971.
