Border Guard Bangladesh men on Sunday night arrested a total of 10 Bangladeshis including seven men, two women and a child while they were being trafficked to India through Putkhali frontier under Benapole port police station.
Lt Col Abdur Rahim, commanding officer, 23 Border Guard Battalion told New Nation that acting on a tip off the BGB personnel detained the Bangladeshis while they were being trafficked to India at around 10pm on Sunday.
The arrested were handed over to Benapole port station police. A case was filed with the police station in this connection.
