Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered Tk 10.5 lakh and 1,000 indian rupees in abondoned condition from Choto Achra border point in the district on Tuesday.
Lt Col Ariful Haque, Commanding officer of 49 BGB of Jessoer, said on secrete information a team of the border force conducted a drive at Choto Achra and recovered the money.
Later, the BGB team handed over the money to Benapole Customs authorities.
