banglanews24.com :A Jubo League activist was killed as people of two of its groups locked into clashes to establish supremacy in Hajipur union in Begumganj upazila of Noakhali district.The deceased was identified as Jasim Uddin Rubel (23), son of Sufi Alam.However, the injured Rubel was rushed to a hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead on arrival on Sunday night.Four more people were also injured in the clash and one of them was bullet-shot.Locals said that the clash took place on Sunday noon in order to establish supremacy in Majid Beparir Bazar in Hajipur union.The rival group cut veins of Rubel, a local unit Jubo League activist. Begumganj Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Golam Faruk confirmed the matter to banglanews.
