An alleged thief was killed after heavy mob beating at Rajanag area under Rangunia upazila here early Tuesday morning. The victim was identified as Jahir Uddin, 30.
Officer-in-Charge of Rangunia Police Station M Humayan Kabir said local people beat him when Jahir went to steal in a residence of the area around12:30am.
