UNB, Dhaka :
One person was killed and nine others were injured when the water tank of a mosque collapsed on a laundry shop at Fakirerpool in the city on Wednesday afternoon.
The identity of the deceased could not be known yet. Sources at the Fire Service Central Control Room said the water tank on the rooftop of Fakirerpool Bazar Mosque fell on the tin-roofed laundry shop by the mosque around 5:20pm, leaving at least 10 people injured.
The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared one of them brought dead, said Inspector Nilufar Yesmin at the Fire Service Control Room.
