RAB members arrested 18 drug addicts in an anti-drug operation at Panchbibi in Joypurhat on Tuesday evening.
Joypurhat RAB-5 Camp Commander Additional Superintendent of Police M.M. Mohaimenur Rashid, said the members of the camp detained them while they were taking drugs in different places including Ratanpur Sarkarpara area of the upazila. Police Officer-in-Charge Mansur Rahman said a case was filed against the detainees at Panchbibi Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act.
