The SSC exam will begin under Chattogram Education Board(CEB) from tomorrow(Saturday) as elsewhere in the country.
About one lakh fifty thousand students will appear this year, a CEB sources said.
Last year, total of 1,35,221 students appeared and hence increased 14,646 students this year. Board sources said out of 1,030 schools under this board , examination will be held in 190 centres including city and district based schools.
Students of 694 schools of city and district about 1,04,310 students will seat for exam in city and district in 112 centres, 21,350 students of coxsbazar in 112 centres will appear. Besides, 9,027 students of Rangamati district, 10,720 of Khagrachari district, and 4,282 students of Bandarban district will also appear in 19 centres, 21 centres and 12 centres respectively, Board sources added. Out of total, there are 89,759 male and 81,108 female students will appear this year.
Local administration in city and upazila levels, all preparations have been finalized for holding the SSC exam peacefully.
Local administration enforcing strong measures to resist the question leakage and all coaching centres and internet, Photostat shop asked to remain closed during the exam period, a local sources said.
