Renowned golfer Zamal Hossain Mollah emerged champion in the Paramount Textile Open Golf Tournament that concluded on Thursday at the Kurmitola Golf Course.
Zamal scored a total of 276 in four rounds with 12 under par to the champions while three other golfers — Mohammad Sayum, Noor Jamal and Jibon Ali — finished joint runners-up scoring 283 with five under par.
Vice-president of Bangladesh Golf Federation and Area Commander of Logistic Area, Dhaka Major General Mizanur Rahman was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and later he distributed prizes.
Chairman of the meet’s sponsor Paramount Group Shakawat Hossain was also present on the occasion.
