The customers and the pedestrians in Reazuddin Bazar area in city detained a person while trying to snatch the belongings of a Eid shopper impersonating himself as RAB official. The snatcher identified as Md. Salauddin who hails from Musapur area of Sandwip upazila . The mass immediately handed over him to Kotwali thanapolice Kotwali thana Officer Incharge Md. Mohsin admitted the arrest of one youth named Salahuddin .
Police sources said fake Salahuddin tried to snatch money and mobile from a eid shopper Mahbubul Islam Manik impersonating him as RAB official. Sensing him as fake RAB man, customers and nearby pedestrians caught him red handed and informed the police .
