Police recovered the body of a young man from a brick kiln at Aramdanga village in Damurhuda upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Shamim Akhter Engine, 24, son of Abdul Rashid of the village.
Police said workers of the brick kiln named ‘Navy’ spotted the body of Shamim in an abandoned house of the brick kiln in the morning and informed police.
Later, law enforces recovered the body around 11:00 am and sent it to sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Officer-in-charge of Damurhuda Model Police Station Shikder Moshiur Rahman confirming the incident said that the reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
