UNB, Cox’s Bazar :
A young man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house at Pahartoli in Ramu upazila recently.
The deceased was identified as Osman Goni, 30, son of Jalal Ahmed of the area.
Quoting Goni’s sister Rehena, police said Goni offered his Fazr prayers in the morning and then had an altercation with his mother over having meal in the morning.
Later, Goni killed himself by hanging from a tree.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy, said sub-inspector of Ramu Police Station, Khairul Islam.
