One youth allegedly committed suicide at his residence taking poison at Alipur area on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as M Solaiman, 22, son of Nurul Alam, hailed from the same area.
Nayek Shilabrata Barua of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost said, he had an altercation with his family members.
