One yaba trafficker named Ishaq was killed in gun fight with RAB at Tigerpass area in the city on Tuesday midnight. The yaba peddler is the son of one Md.Ali of Jautala colony of Kotwali thana. Deputy commander of RAB-7 Ashequr Rahman told the media that sensing the location of the drug peddler Ishaq and his party at Tigerpass area, RAB forces conducted raid in the area and the drug peddler died on the spot with encounter and his accomplice fled away from these spot.
Sources said huge numbers of yaba tablets and arms were recovered from the spot . Ishaq was shouldering 19 criminal cases in different thanas of Chattogram, sources added.
