A day-long workshop on ‘Corruption-Related Investigative Journalism’ was held at seminar room of Jahir Raihan auditorium on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus here on Thursday. Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) organized the workshop in association with JU Journalists’ Association (JUJA) while a total of 43 journalists of different electronic media took part in the training.
A prominent writer, editor and analyst Arshad Mahmud, Executive Director of TIB Iftekharuzzaman, Assistant Professor of Mass Communication and Journalism department of Dhaka University Saiful Islam Chawdhory and News Editor of Dainik Samakal Saboj Younus took classes on the topic.
Later, a concluding ceremony was also held with Professor of JU History Department ATM Atiqur Rahman presiding.
