The Walton 1st National Softball Competition will begin at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city’s Dhanmondi on December 21.
Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association will arrange the three-day long softball meet under auspices of Walton Group.
A total of eight teams including Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Ansar will take part in the softball competition.
The eight teams splitting into two groups will take part in the softball tournament for women.
Top two teams from each group will play in the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will get tickets of the final. The final will be held on December 23.
The champions and the runners-up will be awarded trophies.
