The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) detained a woman alongwith 10 gram heroin at Ishwardi upazila in Pabna district on Monday.
Detained person is Ratna Khatun, 35, a resident of Karammaja Nishipara village under Santhia upazila in the district.
On information, the DNC official Sanwar Hossain along with allied forces conducted a drive in Arambaria area this morning and detained the woman with the heroin.
A case was filed against the woman with Ishwardi Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act, said the DNC official.
