Anowara thana police of Chattogram district rounded up one woman yaba trader named Hazera Khatun (50) from his house on Tuesday midnight. He was apprehended from West Raipur of Anowara upazila after midnight of Tuesday.
Sources said Hazera Khatun is the mother of one yaba trader Md Elias of the area. Anowara thana police said acting on secret tip off, they conducted raid in the house and managed to apprehend her and recovered 16000 pcs of yaba from her possession. Yaba trader Md. Elias escaped f rom the spot sensing the presence of the police personnels. A case has been lodged with the concerned police station under Narcotics Control Act.
