A centenarian woman was burnt to death in a fire that broke out at Khantarhat in Sandwip Upazila early Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Chhaya Rani Shil, a resident of Khantarhat area. Officer-in -charge of Sandwip police station HM Mashiur Rahman said the fire originated at the house of Chhaya Rani early in the morning and it soon engulfed the entire house.
