Bangladesh left-arm spinner Taijul Isalm was thrilled to take his maiden fifer in his ODI return against West Indies. He stated that he will remember the match in the Caribbean for his entire life.
Taijul Islam made a triumphant return to ODI cricket after 28 months as Bangladesh completed another series sweep of the West Indies, winning the third and final match by four wickets at Guyana.
“I made my Test debut in the West Indies and took 5 wickets in the match. I also took a fifer in ODI in the West Indies. Whether I come back to the West Indies or not, it will always be memorable for me,” said Taijul
“Getting five wickets is always a different feeling. It is indefinable. Maybe that’s why I jumped a little (laughs). It was really good,” he added.
Taijul was adjudged the player of the match, as he finished with impressive figures of five for 28 runs.
