Head Coach of Bangladesh Under-15 National Women’s Football team Golam Rabbani Choton said, ” We shall try to win all the matches of the SAFF Under-15 Women’s Championship. We shall play to win. I hope my girls will present competitive football. My girls have been engaged in practice for three months.”
Choton spoke at a press conference at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House on Tuesday. General Secretary of BFF Md Abu Nayeem Shohag, Head of Delegation of Bangladesh Under-15 National Women’s Football team Md Amirul Islam Babu, Chairperson of the Women’s Committee of BFF Mahfuza Akter Kiron, Captain of the Team Maria Manda also spoke at the conference.
Babu said, “President of BFF Kazi Salahuddin told him to give all sorts of cooperation to the Team to earn the championship title.”
Kiron said, ” The girls have been practicing for enough time. They will present a better brand of football and I hope that they will play entertaining football for the spectators.”
Maria Manda said, ” We have been practicing for a long time. We shall try to be champions in the meet.”
Md Abu Nayyem Shohag said, ” Everyday two matches will be held. The rate of the tickets is Taka 50. The rate of the ticket of the final is also Taka 50. The tickets will be available at the booth of the stadium during the match day.”
A total of four teams will take part in the SAFF Under-15 Women’s Championship, which is scheduled to be held at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur from December 17 to December 24. Hosts Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Bhutan will compete in the league basis competition. The top two teams from the league will get the tickets of the final.
Bangladesh will take on Nepal on December 17 will face Bhutan on December 19 and meet Bhutan on December 21.
The final will be held on December 24.
