Chairman of Chattogram Port Authority said water bus from Sadarghat to Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram will operate from September aimed at easing prevailing traffic congestions.
He disclosed it while exchanging views with the journos at Bandar bhaban on Saturday .
He said to relieve the curse of traffic congestions in the city, a short term alternative arrangement will be undertaken and a MOU in connection was signed with an organization recently.
The construction of terminal at Sadargthat and Airport already nearing completion. Port chairman said coordination among the service providing agencies is major task and there is no alternative of coordination.
Port chairman also said the approval of Bay Terminal under DPP is expected to receive from the concerned ministry very shortly and the construction work of Truck Terminal at Bay Terminal site will begin from 2020 .
