Opener Murali Vijay’s scored his sixth career Test century against Bangladesh during the one-off Test match at the Khan Shaeb Osman Ali Stadium on Friday.
The 31-year old right handed batsman took 201-ball to reach the landmark in the 8th over of the day.
Vijay, who resumed the third day (Friday) with overnight score of 89 runs, played patient knock of 150-run off 272-ball hitting 12 boundaries and one over boundary before he was trapped leg before wicket by Shakib Al Hasan after the lunch break.
