The authorities of Dhaka University (DU) on Thursday brought out a victory rally on the campus as part of the Victory Day celebration programme.
Led by DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, the rally was started from Aparajeyo Bangla premises on the campus, said a release.
The rally was ended at Swadhinata Chattar in the historic Suhrawardy Udyan followed by a musical function where the students of Music Department of the university performed the “Muktir Gaan” and “Bijoyer Gaan”, the release added.
In a short rally, the VC thanked all for participating in the rally and paid due respect to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and 30 lakh martyrs of the Liberation War, it said.
