The US Embassy in Dhaka will remain closed on Sunday, on the occasion of Martin Luther King Junior’s birthday on January 19, which is an American holiday. The Consular Section, the American Centre’s Archer K Blood American Centre Library and the Education USA Student Advising Centre, will also remain closed on the occasion, an embassy press release said.
However, emergency services for American citizens will be available during the period. Anyone can talk to the duty officer at 885-5500 for required emergency services, the release added.
