Syed Faridul Islam has joined United Commercial Bank Limited as the Additional Managing Director recently, says a press release.
Prior, UCB, he was the Deputy Managing Director & Chief Risk Officer of Prime Bank looking after on Credit, Information Security, Credit administration and Risk Management division of the Bank.
He played a very pivotal role in restructuring Business model for SME Banking, Consumer Banking, and Branch Network including Trade Services and Cash Management under Central Operations in Prime Bank. He also set up Prime Bank’s Retail and SME collection and Special Asset Management model. He firmly contributed in implementation and upgradation of Core Banking, Card Management system and Tier 3 data Center of the Bank.
He was also Head of SME Banking, BRAC Bank and reorganizing small segment and centralization of CRM.
