Two goods laden trains collide head-on at Bhangura

At least three people injured as two goods trains were collided head on at Bhangura station in the Ishwardi-Bangabandhu Railway Bridge on Thursday morning.
 Two wagons and one engine were also derailed. Driver Anis said that two engine were also damaged. Injured driver Sohrab Ali (40) and Anisur Rahman (45) were given primary treatment at Bhangura Health Complex. As a result, the movement of trains between North and South Bengal with Dhaka has been closed for three hours. Local eyewitnesses said that a goods up train(Meter Gaze) arrived from Shetabgonj in Dinajpur, came to the number 1 line of Bhangura station. Soon after that another down train (Broad Gaze) from Sirajgonj dived into the number 1 line. As a result, there were confrontation cases.
Md Zakaria Guard of the Up train said that he ordered the driver to wait according to the signal of station master. Sohrab Ali driver of the down train said he was approaching due to the green signal of the same line.
So he was caught in the accident. Abdul Malek Station Master of Bhangura did not give any response to the two trains on the same line. However, the train movement is normal after 11 AM on Thursday.
