Members of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) on Thursday arrested two arms traders with a shutter gun and three cartridges from city’s Kalphaloke area on Thursday morning.
The arrestees were identified as Abdul Mannan, 27 and Abdul Aziz, 32, both hailed from Banskhali upazila of the district.
A team of Bakalia thana police on secret information arrested Mannan and Abdul Aziz, recovered shutter gun and three cartridges from city’s Kalphaloke area after searching the body of the arrested persons, said Mohammad Mohosin, Officer in Charge (OC) of Bakalia thana.
