Four people were killed and seven others injured as a truck collided head-on with a microbus at Ilashpur in Osmani Nagar upazila in the district.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet. Officer-in-Charge of Osmani Nagar Police Station Ali Mahmud said the Sylhet-bound truck collided with Dhaka-bound microbus, leaving four people dead on the spot and injuring seven others around 4 pm. Local Fire Service and Civil Defence men were conducting the rescue operation, he said. The injured were taken to a local hospital, said the OC.
