Training on aman, almond, mustard cultivation in Rangpur

Additional Secretary (Research) of the Ministry of Agriculture Kamala Ranjan Das has said that with the increase in crop density, there is pressure on the soil. The cropping pattern prepared while maintaining the quality of the soil is being expanded among the farmers through exhibitions.
 Our educated farmers have come forward in commercial agriculture and developed agriculture extensively. He was speaking at a farmers’ training on non-invented high yielding and short-lived aman paddy, oil crop nuts and mustard varieties and cultivation techniques at Rangpur sub-center on Saturday noon. Bina’s director general, Dr. Mirza Mofazzal Islam presided over the training and Kamala Ranjan Das, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture was the chief guest.
Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Chief Scientist, Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Dr. Mohammad Ali, Officer-in-Charge of Bina Rangpur Sub-Center, Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Scientific Officer and Motabber Rahman among others spoke on the occasion. Hundreds of farmers of Rangpur division took part in the training. At the end, high quality seeds of various non-invented crops are distributed among the farmers.
