Chittagong Bureau :
A man was killed and two others were injured as an express train hit a truck at level crossing in city gate area of the port city on yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sajib(26) helper of the truck driver.
Sources said that Nasirabad Express train, coming from Mymensingh, knocked the truck, carrying water tank, around 6:00am while it was passing through the level crossing at city gate under Pahartali thana in city , leaving one dead on the spot and injured 2 others. The injured persons are now under treatment in CMCH, sources said.
Injured driver and another helper were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
