Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Awami League will pay tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman placing wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at 32, Dhanmondi in the city at about 7 am marking Bangabandhu’s Homecoming Day.
Human chain
Bangladesh National Hindu Student Grand Alliance will form a human chain in front of the Jatiya Press Club at 10:30 am with a call to change the date for holding DSCC and DNCC elections for Saraswati Puja, a religious festival of the Hindu community.
Inauguration
The inauguration of countdown in observance of birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be held on TSC premises of Dhaka University at 5:15 pm.
