A mobile court of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Monday fined two medical centers Tk 18 lakh on charge of providing fake medical reports to the expatriate men.
RAB Headquarters Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam fined the Golf Medical Center at Tk 12 lakh and Al Abir Medical Center at Tk six lakh based on confessional statement of the owners.
Earlier, RAB-1 conducted a raid in two medical centers following information in the city’s Banani area and found that the medical centers had supplied fake medical reports to expatriate men after taking huge money from them.
