Newly appointed Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan said he will work for completing the ongoing projects under the ministry within the stipulated time.
The minister said this while talking to officials and employees of the ministry at its conference room, said an official release here.
“We have been moving forward to become self-reliant under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the last 10 years. We are now marching towards the goal of making the country a developed one,” Sujan said.
He said he will take initiatives to increase the connectivity with different countries and urged all concerned to work together to keep the pace of development.
Secretary of the ministry Md Mofazzel Hossain and Director General of Bangladesh Railway Qazi Md Rafiqul Alam were, among others, present in the meeting.
