Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) in a drive arrested a listed terrorist of CMP with a foreign made revolver and two bullets beside city’s Colonel hat Jamea Mosque on Sunday night.
The arrested terrorist was identified as Mohammad Mamun, 31, son of Mofizur Rahman, hailed from Goolpahar area in the city.On a tip-off, a team of the Akbarshah thana police conducted a raid in the area and nabbed Mamun with a foreign made revolver and two bullets, said Sudip Kumar Das, Officer in Charge of Akbar Shah thana.A case was filed with Akbar Shah Thana in this connection, he added. Besides, another six cases including murder and explosion were pending against him with different police station in the city.
