At the end of last year, popular host and TV actress Tania Hossain became mother of a daughter named Agnimitra Mazumder Pieta. She has been passing happy days with her husband Bappa Mazumder and daughter. She last acted in NTV’s drama serial Sunflower, directed by Nazrul Islam Razu. Later she did not work. Now Pieta’s age is two months 10 days.
While asking her when she will return to acting Tania replied, “In fact, I will take time to return in acting.”
In the meantime, Tania Hossain took part in an exceptional programme. Nitai Saha has been doing business of Adi Dhakeshwari Bastralaya’s saree for last four decades in India successfully. That Adi Dhakeshwari saree started its business at Bashundhara City Complex in Bangladesh where Tanim Reza and Shibly Sumon are in-charge of Dhaka’s outlet. In the opening ceremony of the outlet, Tania Hossain was present as invited guest along with popular TV actress, director and playwright Naznin Hasan Chumki.
While sharing her feelings Tania said, “Within very short time to settle family life I became mother of a daughter. Its Allah’s blessing. Now I am one of the happiest persons in the world. I am passing happy life with my husband and daughter. I am delighted to get the invitation from Adi Dhakeshwari saree. I like their sarees. I have full confidence on them. I believe they will maintain their quality in Dhaka also.”
Naznin Chumki said, “They have started their journey in Dhaka only. I also like their sarees. I wish their success.”
Meanwhile, Chumki is acting in Golam Sohrab Dodul-directed Deepto TV’s serial Bhalobashar Alo-Andhar now. She is also acting in serial Agoon Pakhi based on story of Hasan Azizul Haque and Desh TV’s new serial Jol Basor, directed by Masum Reza.
In last year’s International Women’s Day, Chumki made a play titled Pieu Ekti Pakhir Jibon.
