BNP’s defeated mayor candidates Tabith Awal for Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Ishraque Hossain for Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) will put forward their reaction as well as brief media about irregularities in the city polls today (Wednesday).
They will put forward their reactions at a media briefing in Emmanuelle’s Banquet Hall in city’s Gulshan at 11:00am.
Meanwhile, the BNP on Tuesday observed demonstration at thana-level of the capital against DCC polls results.
To mark the day, the party leaders and activists arranged protest rallies in the capital.
After observing a day-long hartal on Monday, BNP announced to demonstrations in the city for Tuesday demanding cancellation of results.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the programme at a press conference at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office.
