Zinat Sanu Swagota is popularly known as a TV actress, model and singer. This time she has added a new identity in her career. She has made a movie titled Durotto as thesis work. She has also written its script. Basically she will submit it to Zahidur Rahim Anjan as a ‘thesis movie.’
Swagota has already completed her graduation in Film and Media from Stamford University Bangladesh. Before completing graduation ‘thesis movie’ is to be submitted to the department. As a part of it, she has made this ‘thesis movie.’
Syed Hasan Imam, Laila Hasan, Dilara Zaman, Shyamal Mawla, Tamanna Tasmim, among others, acted in different roles in movie Durotto.
While talking about making the movie Swagota told this correspondent, “To give direction is really a tough job which I have realised after giving direction of movie Durotto. The actors who performed in my directed movie they not only cooperated me well but also inspired me a lot. Otherwise it became a difficult task for me to finish the work successfully. I believe learning from giving direction of this movie will help me a lot in my professional career.”
Swagota informed that after this it will be her second graduation. Earlier in 2008, she completed her first graduation in Music from Rabindra Bharati University.
It may be mentioned that on May 4 Swagota’s engagement was held with Rashed Zaman.
In fact, after died of her father Swagota has to maintain her family. For this reason, after arrangements of the family matters she wants to tie the nuptial knot with Rashed. She requested all to pray for her new conjugal life, Swagota said.
Swagota’s acted drama serials – Dolchhut Projapoti, Pichhutan, Dhonni Meye and Apurba are being aired in different satellite channels now.
