Raozan Sunni Jubo Oikya Parishad demanded withdrawal of so- called Peer Munirullah from the post of Principal of Kagatia Kamil Madrasa immediately and arrest of him .
In disguise of Tarikat, Munirullah followers launched attack on other Tarikat supporters in different times led to create terrorism and anarchy in the Raozan upazila since long.
This was disclosed before the journalists at a press conference held at Chattogram Press Club hall on Thursday .
The press meet was told that govt should ban the activities of the Muniria Jubo Tablig Committee in Chattogram immediately as alleged involvement with terrorism and militancy .
The speakers in the press conference said a number of sunni ulemas, freedom fighers, political personalities and Sunni Tarikat activities were harassed in different ways recently by the militant supporters of socalled Munirullah in Raozan upazila. Even less qualified Munirullah is holding the post of Principal of Kagatia Kamil Madrasha since long and he should be replaced immediately from the key post of the Madrasa , press meet added.
The written statement of the press meet was told that Kagatia Madrasha was the den of Rajakars-Albadar during Liberation War .
To suppress their ill deeds during liberation war, Muniri Jubo Tablig was formed by so-called Munirullah, press meet said. It was also apprised in the press meet that the self claimed Peer declare d his late father as Gausul Azam and himself as Morshede Azam and deceiving the innocent people of the area since long with the slogan of Gausul Azam.
The Sunni leaders also reputed him as a successor of Aulade Rasul but his fore fathers never claimed successor of Prophet Mohammad. The press meet also told that the militant activists of Muniria Jubo Tablig are giving objectionable face book status against the dreamer of model ‘Raozan ABM Fazle Karim Chaowdhury MP and Sunni Ulemas and organisers which is very objectionable and illogical .
The press meet demanded immediate arrest of the Muniria so-called Peer and his militant forces . The Sunni Jammat called upon all irrespective of opinions to work consciously against the ill activities of Muniria and his militant activities in the area .
Member Secretary of the Parishad Md. Amaullah Aman read out the written statement before the press meet. Member Secretary central committee of Ahle Sunnat Coordination Committee Adv Mosahebuddin Bakhtiar replied to the questions of the journalists .
Convenor of the SOP Ahmed Sayed was also present among others in it.
