Sumona Shoma is a celebrated actress in television dramas and movies. Besides acting in TV dramas, she is also engaged with acting in the silver screen.
Sumona Shoma first acted opposite late hero Manna in movie Rajdhani. Later, she got appreciations from the viewers for acting in other movies. Sumona informed that after Eid-ul-Azha, she is going to work in two new movies. She will
star in title roles of Nargis Akhter’s Mokkhirani and Ashraf Shishir’s Birangona. The actress has already talked with directors of these two movies regarding acting.
While talking about to act in these two movies, Sumona Shoma said, “I am going play the title roles in movies Mokkhirani and Birangona. Earlier, I acted in several numbers of good story based movies. But I couldn’t get the scope to play the title role in any movie. Now I am taking necessary preparations for acting in these two movies because I have to play challenging roles. So, I want to work in these movies after taking necessary preparations. Basically, Birangona will be my dream movie. Many incidents took place regarding this movie. I don’t want to say more in this regard. I can only say that Birangona will be a new challenge for my acting career. Now time will say what will be happened lastly. But I strongly believe Birangona is going to be something special to me. Therefore, Ashraf Shishir is a noted director. I hope he will make the movie cordially and will also give huge efforts in this regard.”
Sumona Shoma also informed that she played in role of Rupban in Ashraf Shishir directed another movie Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo. Basically story of this movie revolves with Shoma’s character. This eight-episode movie will be released soon.
Sumona Shoma has also completed shooting of Abu Towhid Hiron’s movie Adom and Shahidul Islam Khokon directed movie Ekjon Bhasha Soinik-er Golpo. After Rajdhani, Shoma was seen starring in movies Na Bolo Na, Milon, Nondito Noroke, among others. Meanwhile, she is now engaged with acting in Kaiser Ahmed and Al Hazen directed TV serial Golmal and Faridul Hasan directorial serial Gutibaji. Therefore, she has planned to act in Joy Sarkar’s a drama serial within very short days.
On the occasion of coming Eid, on Thursday, Shoma has completed shooting of Ferdous Hasan Rana directed special drama titled Bondhu Bole Kichhu Nei, said the actress.
