The government on Wednesday asked the students not to get admitted themselves into any courses conducted by the Bangladesh Combined Medical and Dental Council (BCMDC).
Directorate of Health Services issued a warning letter in this regard on Wednesday.
The letter said, Bangladesh Combined Medical and Dental Council (BCMDC), a fake institution, offers the students to study diploma courses, masters in different subjects and Masters of Philosophy (Mphil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
But the BCMDC is not any enlisted institution under the Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
“Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and the government approved universities mainly issue certificates for the medical students. There is no other institution which can issue certificate,” the letter said.
Directorate of Health Services also warned the BCMDC of action against publishing any advertisement. It also sent the warning letters to the law enforcing agencies to take legal action against the BCMDC.
