A student of Government Shah Sultan College Student was killed with sharp knife by unidentified miscreants at Jalewsharitola area near Altafunnessa Playground in Bogra at around 7.30 am on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shona Mia, 25, son of Abdul Wahed of Shaghata upazila of Gaibandha district and a fourth-year student of English department of Government Shah Sultan College of Bogra living at Star Chattrabash of Dabtola in Malgram area in Bogra town.
His friend Al-Amin said that he had been going to Altafunnessa Playground to practise football and on the way to the play ground by his by-cycle; some unidentified miscreants hacked in his throat to death.
On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the dead body to Shaheed Zaiur Rahman Medical College and Hsopital (SZMCH)’s morgue for autopsy.
