Dolly Zahur and Afroza Banu are two legendry actresses of our TV play arena. They never study together either in school or college/ university. Though they couldn’t get the opportunity to study together but they are very close to each other for their professional works in media for many years.
In fact, Belly (nickname of Afroza Banu) and Dolly Zahur are very close friends. With the story of these two intimate friends Rahmatullah Tuhin made a drama serial titled Kshonikaloy, which is being telecasted on Maasranga TV now.
The serial has already crossed 500 episodes of its airing. End of this month the serial will be telecasted with new news.
Hillol is acting in role of Dolly Zahur’s son in the serial, while Afroza Banu is acting in role of Hillol’s wife Nadia’s mother. In the serial, viewers are enjoying watching the relationship of Beyain-Beyain. But within very short time the serial will end, said its director.
While talking about the serial and their performances Dolly Zahur told this correspondent, “I am really grateful to Rahmatullah Tuhin to present a nice drama serial for the viewers. I long with many senior actors including my friend Belly are also working in the serial. There are many memories related to this serial. Viewers will miss the serial Kshonakiloy.”
Afroza Banu shared her feelings by this way, “Right now it is really difficult to introduce a hit TV serial for the viewers. Rahmatullah Tuhin has done that thing nicely. I am giving him thanks in this regard. While working in the serial we, the performers, made a family bondage among us. I really miss the serial and its members.”
Earlier Dolly Zahur and Afroza Banu worked together in several TV serials in different satellite channels including Bangladesh Television (BTV). Dolly Zahur recently got the RTV Star Award to act for Mir Sabbir’s directed a drama serial Noashal. Within this month she will start to take part in shooting of Shakhawat Manik’s new serial Meghey Dhaka Shohor.
On the other hand, Afroza Banu’s acted new drama serial is Golam Sohrab Dodul’s Pagla Hawa. It will go on air on Banglavision soon. Therefore, Afroza Banu’s acted another drama serial titled Daag, directed by Sabur Khan, is being telecasted on ATN Bangla now.
