An SSC examinee named Almas Uddin (16), who was injured in a road accident in Feni, succumbed three days later. He died at Chattogram Medical College Hospital on Tuesday.
Almas was injured with his mother Hasina, two other examinees and the autorickshaw driver after being hit by a bus on his way home by a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw after the examination on Sunday afternoon. Almas’ mother Hasina and the two injured candidates are still undergoing treatment at the Chattogram Medical College Hospital. Almas took part in the SSC examination from Sheikh Mojibul Haque High School in Lemua Union of Sadar Upazila. He is the eldest son of Jahangir Alam, a Saudi Arabian resident of Mirganj village in that union.
