Court Correspondent :Dhaka Cyber Tribunal yesterday (Thursday) granted bail to war crime convict Salauddin Quader Chowdhury’s wife and son in a case filed in connection with leakage of the draft verdict of war crime case against the BNP stalwart.Judge KM Shamsul Alam of the tribunal granted the bail on Thursday afternoon on a bond of Tk one lakh for each with two guarantors. Earlier, in the morning the BNP leader’s wife Farhat Quader Chowdhury and son Hummam Quader Chowdhury surrendered toa court. They also filed bail petition to the Cyber Tribunal. The hearing on the bail petition was held at 12 noon.On October 14, the court issued arrest warrant against the two accused. As per the charge sheet of the case, the accused leaked part of the draft verdict of International Crimes Tribunal-1 that convicted Salauddin Quader Chowdhury.
