Honourable State Minister for Youth and Sports Shree Biren Sikder, MP, handed over the prestigious award of Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) in a glittering annual prize giving ceremony held on Monday evening at Ivy Rahman Swimming Pool adjacent to the
Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city.
A total of 67 sports personalities received the award for the year 2009 to 2012.
BSJA president Sayeeduzaman, its general secretary Sayeedur Rahman Shamim and other senior personalities were present, among others, on the occasion.
State Minister said, “I congratulate all the winners for receiving this award. This BSJA awards will inspire the awardees to earn more laurel for the country. I believe others who did not get will be vying for the future award.”
