Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), in several anti-smuggling drives, seized a huge quantity of smuggled Indian goods worth about Taka 1.4 crore from different frontier areas of the district last night.
The BGB team also arrested smuggler Shimul Islam, 23, son of Salim Khan of Chalkbola village in Natore district.
The seized goods are: huge quantities of Indian phensidyl, Bear, ganja, fruits, spices, shares, shirt,blankets and other clothes, huge sex stimulating tablets and others Indian illegal goods, BGB-3 sources said.The seized goods handed over to the Hilly customs office.
