State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain has said that more skilled manpower is needed for continuation of the country’s development.
The state minister made comment while speaking at a seminar organized by BCS officials at the Officers’ Club in Dhaka on Monday.
Farhad Hossain said, “Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh has joined in the process of development. She has promoted the country a lower-middle income country from a lower-income one within a fastest time.”
“To maintain the advancement, government officials will have to play important role to make the country a developed one and they will have to make themselves skilled and capable to face future challenges,” he added.
Emphasising on providing information and technology (IT) training for the officials, the state minister said, “Using of technologies will have to be increased to render proper services to the country men timely,”
Local Government Division Secretary Helal Uddin presided over the seminar while Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Md Nazibur Rahman, among others, spoke at the event.
