Six including 3 of a family killed in road crashes

At least six persons were killed and several others injured in separate road crashes across the country on Tuesday.
In Tangail, around three members of a family, including a minor, were killed when a truck overturned on the Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge Highway in Mirzapur upazila on the Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Niranjan Ali, 30, his wife Sagri Mali, 25, and their daughter Swarna, 08, from Shikharanjan village of Joypurhat sadar upazila.
They were on the way to Joypurhat, by a truck, from Gazipur.
The truck overturned as the driver lost control on the steering, leaving them dead on the spot, around 5am.
Police confirmed the matter to the media.
In Naogaon, a sixth grade schoolboy, 13, was killed in a road accident at Raninagar of Naogaon district.
The accident occurred at Veterinary Hospital of the Upazila Sadar on Tuesday morning. The deceased was identified as Ovi, son of Mostafizur Rahman from Chakbilika village.
Raninagar Police Station Office in Charge (OC) ASM Siddiqur Rahman said the news of accident to media.
In Barisal, a college going student named Mainuddin Sardar, 17, was killed in a motorcycle accident after losing control in Gournadi of Barisal district.
The accident took place on the Barisal-Dhaka highway in Bezhar area on Tuesday morning.
Mainuddin was the son of Majibur Sardar from Mahilara of Gournadi upazila. Gournadi Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Atiar Rahman confirmed the matter to media. In Kushtia, a man named Saddam Hossain, 30, was killed and driver of the trolley critically injured in a road crash in Kushtia.
The accident took place on the Kushtia-Meherpur Road at Taltala in Mirpur upazila at 9am on Tuesday morning.
Saddam was the son of Jannat Hossain of Mirpur upazila.
